South Kyushu Natural Scenery Tour

Discover the fascinating, subtropical island of Kyushu with three days of adventure, sightseeing and exciting exploration.

About Your Trip

This DreamTrip invites you to explore Japanese culture, history and natural beauty beginning with a visit to the Udo Shrine and the Nichinan Sun Garden. This picturesque park offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and reproductions of the iconic Easter Island Moai statues. Next, you’ll travel to Sakurajima, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, and visit the Arimura Lava Lookout. Here, you’ll feel the raw power of the volcano and see smoke rising from the crater. Tour some of Kagoshima’s most exciting sightseeing destinations and explore local cuisine before returning to the comfort of your hotel.

What we love:
• Sakurajima’s volcanic activity began an approximated 22,000 years ago. Lava flow from a 1914 eruption filled the strait between the island and the mainland, turning the area into a peninsula.
• Kagoshima offers some of the best shopping malls in the region, featuring high-end boutiques, cinemas, restaurants and theme park rides.
• The vibrantly colored Kirishima Jingu shrine is surrounded by massive cedar trees, many of which are more than 700 years old.

Check out this DreamTrip on Facebook.

This trip will close by August 4.
